Legado is a master planned community and home to the Dayton Airpark at Legado, a privately owned, public airport located just two miles from downtown Dayton, Nevada.  Legado is also just 12 miles from Carson City and 37 miles from Reno. Tie downs are located on the East end of the 75 by 5,400 ft paved runway.

With 300+ days of sunshine annually, Dayton Airpark at Legado hosts fly-in events throughout the year and can also accommodate pilots who just want to fly in for a round of golf at Legado’s own Dayton Valley Golf & Country Club with its Arnold Palmer designed 18-hole championship golf course.  The course has been home to a PGA Qualifying Round each October for over 12 years.

If golf’s not your game, you will also enjoy flying in for breakfast, lunch or dinner at the 14,000 sq. ft. Legado clubhouse.  The clubhouse boasts the Legado Bar & Grill for drinks and casual fare along with the Palmer Room for more formal dining and seasonal patio dining is available overlooking the golf course and lakes.

Transportation is available between the runway and the clubhouse by calling 775-246-7888 Ext. 1 upon arrival.

Adjacent to the runway is the fly-in community of Airpark Estates by Lakemont with new homes ranging from approximately 2,000 to 3,600 sq. ft.  Each home includes a private hangar and direct taxiway access to the runway.  Custom lots are also available within Airpark Estates for those who wish to design their own home and hangar.  Fabulous homes and Nevada’s tax advantage with zero state income taxes make Airpark Estates the ideal place to call home.
